For families, I like to keep the session relaxed so that your family can be as natural as possible. We will work together to create your ideal family portrait by planning ahead. Whether this involves your family all cuddled up, laughing, or jumping in the air, is up to you!
When it comes to children’s portraiture, my goal is to capture the true essence of your child’s personality by simply allowing them to be who they are, kids! My passion is connecting with children and families. I will be on the ground playing, tickling toes, wiping drool and playing games with your children, allowing me to capture their true personalities.
Where does the session take place?
I have a list of locations to help you find what fits your style. Cityscape, nature, studio, or in your home!
Can we try specific poses?
Yes, I can typically accommodate your ideas into the shoot. Please let me know before-hand so I can prepare accordingly.
What time of day is the session?
The best light for outdoor sessions begins 2.5 hours before the sun sets. It can range from 3-5pm in the winter & 6-8pm in the summer. Newborn sessions are best in the morning, 10-12am.
How many photos will I get?
Typically 75 – 100+ depending on the number of locations, family members, and outfits.
Can I bring my extended family/pet?
Of course you can bring your family and pets!! The more the merrier, fur babies included!! Please just let us know how many people or pets you would like to bring along so we can plan accordingly.
How/when do we see photos after the session?
It usually takes about two weeks to get all of the photos edited. All collections include edited, full resolution images made available for download on your gallery. You will also receive a flash drive of all the images.
